Natraj Institute of Science and Technology is giving education & training for the past 17 years in the various field of Engineering and Management Studies. The founder and Chairman of NIST Dr. S. Natarajan, M.Sc., Ph.D., have formed charitable educational trust with name "SRI SAMBU MAHAA RISHI EDUCATIONAL TRUST" which is duly registered under Govt. of Tamilnadu Societies Act - Regd. No.718/2002
Under the above said trust an institution is established during 2003 with the name of "SRI VOCATIONAL EDUCATION CENTRE" which is approved by "State Resource Centre" constituted by Ministry of Human Resources Development - Govt. of India.
